HEALING THROUGH NATURE - TOOLS FOR CONNECTION AND CALM

This weekend immersion course aims to provide the tools for connection and calm, providing a space for people to connect with nature, themselves and to learn about the store cupboard of nutrition and medicine which is right on our doorstep.  The course will involve practical techniques for engaging the rest and digest nervous system involving several modalities including wild foraging and nature walks, guided meditations, breathing techniques, yogic activities (gentle asana - physical movement, and learning around self), and herbalism.  Special topics will also be covered at the discretion of the participants.  This course is being taught by Bex Dollery who is a clinical aromatherapist and herbalist with 30 years of experience.

PILATES - MAT PILATES FOR  BEGINNERS 


Start your Pilates experience by building a strong foundation in the Pilates method through mat-based exercises. These fundamental exercises will promote excellent core strength, body awareness, flexibility and relaxation. This is a non rehabilitation Pilates class. If you have any back issues or injuries please inform the office before enrolling and the tutor will contact you directly. This course is part of the Accredited Strength and Balance Programme (Live Stronger for Longer) through Sport Canterbury but is unsuitable for students during pregnancy.
