SIGN LANGUAGE NEW ZEALAND - EXTENSION 2 COURSE

Prerequisite - Must have completed both the Introductory Course and Extension I Course run by Sign Equity at Papanui High School.

Offered as a short, skills-based second extension course to those who have completed the Introductory and Extension I Course at Papanui High School. This will provide participants with more options to practice, comprehend and produce NZSL. Participants will learn important information like:

• Feelings / emotions
• More everyday useful vocabulary to support sentence formation eg. Signs used at home, months of the year...
• Sentence/phrase/conversational practice
• More basic grammar and translation
• More Deaf Culture & Facts
