AN INTRODUCTORY COURSE IN 

NEW ZEALAND SIGN LANGUAGE AND DEAF CULTURE

Offered as a short, skills-based, introductory course to help participants develop the basics of one of New Zealand's official languages. Participants will learn important information about: Deaf Culture and Deaf History, the Finger Spelling Alphabet, numbers 0-20, basic phrases, everyday useful vocabulary, basic grammar and helpful NZSL tips. 

Please note that attendance at the first session of this Course is compulsory for course completion.
