DRESSMAKING (THURSDAY)

Our Dressmaking classes cater for students from beginners through to those who can already sew.  Students can make a garment of their own choice and the tutor will instruct and give help to individual students as needed.  It is recommended that if you are a complete beginner you keep your first project simple so that you become familiar with basic cutting, threading a machine and sewing in a straight line before you move towards a more difficult project.  If you are a more experienced sewer you can make a garment of your own choice (please note you must have a commercial pattern) or you can repair or alter an existing garment.

Please note that there is no class on Thursday 21 May due to an event in the School. A class will be added at the end of the course on 18 June to make up the missed session.
