PAVERPOL SCULPTURE - CREATE BOTH A SITTING AND STANDING LADY
Paverpol is an environmentally friendly fluid used to make fabric rock hard. This course will be working with Black Paverpol. Paverpol artwork is weather resistant after hardening completely. It will withstand rain, wind, sun, snow and frost. Hands and tools can simply be washed in warm water. Just dip natural materials such as textiles in Paverpol. Drape or wrap the material around a wire figure or other armature and leave it to dry.
Paverpol dries fast, but slowly enough to allow plenty of working time. After it has hardened, you have created a beautiful decoration or sculpture which can be used indoors as well as outdoors, It sticks very well with paper, silk, cotton, chamois leather, wood, plaster, etc (except plastic).
Students will be taught how to construct a basic wire frame for both a sitting lady and standing lady From that frame, they will be taught how to build up the frame with tin foil and later how to use materials to dip into Paverpol (Fabric Hardener) and wrap their sculpture. Lastly they will learn how to dress their creations. Most materials are provided and included in the course fee
