Hip Hop is ON TUESDAY and FRIDAY lunchtimes.

Any Pasifika Students who are keen to take part in the UCMeXL July Holiday Programme need to either let Ms McLean or Ms Archer know so they can be registered. The programme provides free academic tutoring, workshops, transport to and from PHS, meals, and learning resources to Pasifika Students. The programme is held for 3 days during the term 2 holidays. The details for the July programme are as follows:

Date: Tuesday 10th- Thursday 12th July
Time: 10am – 4pm
Venue: University of Canterbury

Girls involved in the Soulcircle performance group. Rehearsals Monday and Thursday lunchtimes in the Dance studio. NO EXCEPTIONS this week please

The first Ski / snowboard trip for 2018 will be run Saturday 30 June or Sunday 1st July. Please come to a meeting in H3 at interval Tuesday 26th June, collect info pack and book your place on this or other possible dates for this year. If you cant get to the meeting see Mr Dalkie Wednesday lunch time.

General Notices

Any students wishing to take part in the Australian Mathematics Competition are to sign up with their maths teacher by Friday the 29th of June.
The competition will be held on the 9th of August, 2018.
New this week:
-Are you looking to leave school and interested in a Butchery apprenticeship, come over and see the careers staff
-Your education is presenting about high school exchanges at form time on Monday in A12
-pondr is a great new app to help identify careers or locate courses, there will be a presentation in year 12 assembly on tuesday , other student can come and hear more about it at interval in A12
-full time work is available at snowy peaks ( clothing makers), as storeperson
-telford if offering a agriculture holiday program for interested students- come and talk to careers staff
-UC is running a parents as career educators evening

Quick Rip Rugby will start up at school on Wednesday at lunchtimes either on the school field ( dependant on weather) or by dance studio. Open to all boys and girls who are keen to join in for a bit of fun..

Have you always wanted to learn to jump, tumble and stunt like real American- style Cheerleaders? Now is your chance for free to come along on Monday 2nd July at lunchtime in G2 to give it a go. Bring along your mates!!!
This Friday - come and support your peers in the Term 2 in House Basketball Finals in the gym.
One more order will be placed before the end of the term. If you would like to order a hoodie or long sleeve tee please collect an order form from the sports office and bring payment and form to the student office by Thursday 5th July.
If 2 students are available to umpire the senior netball tournament team trials on the 31st July and 2nd Aug from 3pm at school please let Kirsten know in the sports office.
Reminder: your permission slips are due to Mr Kirby by the end of this week. See his box outside his office door.
All students going to the room opening this Thursday - your permission slips are due back by the end of school TODAY. There will be a meeting in R1 at interval on Wednesday. ALL must attend.
If you lost an eftpos card, lip gloss or an earring at the formal they are waiting at the student office for you.
