Mark McCracken - Course Tutors - Adult & Community Education - Papanui High School

Mark comes from Ireland and has been a chef for nearly 30 years working in professional kitchens around the word.  His passion for food is infectious and he loves all cuisines, with a focus on Asian.  He runs Comber Cuisine, a boutique catering business that specialises in bringing  restaurant quality cuisine into your home.  If you have ever wondered what it is like having a personal chef, this is the experience he offers.  Mark loves to teach, passing on his knowledge and stories from his career and this passion was rewarded in 2021.  Mark won an award for 'Exceptional Adult Educator' from AKO Aotearoa at their Festival of Adult Learning, Treasure The Teacher.  Mark wants every student to leave his course feeling valued, more confident in their cooking ability and to have met their expectations.
