Principal's Weekly Review 3rd July 2020

Kia ora,

As this term come to a close I would like to acknowledge and thank our wider community for your support and understanding in what has been a most challenging term.  Your support is greatly appreciated.  It has been a busy term, and there has been success and much to celebrate.

Our whole staff is committed to doing their best to help and support our students to achieve, and I would like to thank them for their hard work during this past term.

We have some key events happening in the first five weeks of the term.

These include:

· The Senior Formal on Friday 24th July

· Senior Conference Day on Thursday 30th July

· Senior Course Selection evening on Thursday 13th August

· Mid-term Break on Friday 21st August

The school holidays bring an opportunity for both staff and students to take a rest, and hopefully the weather will allow an opportunity to get out and do some outside activities.

I look forward to Term 3 when students return recharged, and set to take another step along their learning pathway.

End of Term Farewell

Sadly we will be saying farewell to a long-serving, administrative staff member, Mrs Denise Hoskin, who is retiring after 28 years.  As a school and a community we would like to thank her for her dedication, valued service, and contribution to our school.  Her role has been immense and we wish her all the very best.

Ngā mihi nui

Jo Hunnikin

Acting Principal
