Tena koutou katoa,

After sending home our Rostering Home timetable for the next two weeks on Tuesday, we have had an increasing number of staff impacted by COVID 19.  This includes staff who are sick, having to isolate and/or caring for sick dependents. For some of our staff, the 7 days of isolation time for COVID has not been long enough for them to fully recover and return to school.  This also aligns with the increasing numbers of COVID cases in the Canterbury region.  Unfortunately this means we are having to increase Rostering Home days to two per year level for the next two weeks. By doing this we are able to provide a programme of learning which enables our students to have contact with their teachers and peers as well as being supported to continue their learning at home.

A reminder that when your student(s) is at home for their days, they will have been set work that they can do with or without a device.   There will be no Google Meet or teacher contact on the rostered days home.

The Google Meet timetable will continue in the same way.  This allows students who are isolating to check in with their classroom teachers at the following times.  There will be no Google Meet or teacher contact on the rostered days home

Google Meets Timetable  The google meets timetable for all year groups can be found here

If your child needs to come to school on their day at home, please email [email protected] and we will arrange supervision for them.

Our focus has been on the well-being of our staff,  students and families and the priority for everyone who is unwell is to get better.  Thank you for your support and understanding as we continue to work together through difficult times.
