In this course we will go back to the basics and work through layering, masking and getting those sort after crisp edges.  Starting with these foundations we will move through butter cream techniques, the fondant toppers and covering, ending with a fun Easter cake.  This course is suitable for a beginner or someone who wants to refresh their skills

REQUIREMENTS Student will need to bring a long serrated cake/bread knife, or a cake leveller,  piping bags, pallet knife, piping tips (ideally a petal tip, wilton 1m and a large round tip.  Buttercream turntable, large rolling pin, fondant smoother, gel food colouring, 2 packs of ready to roll fondant.  You will also need 1 unfilled round cake per lesson (unfilled sponge is fine)
