BOOK MAKING - LEARN TO MAKE A SECRET POCKET BOOK - STILL VACANCIES

This class will teach you how to make a "Book of Pockets".  It is approx 23 cm x 26 cm, and 3 cm thick.  This book is great for collecting all sorts of treasures and small items eg paper pieces, threads and patterns, trinkets, beads, charms etc.  No experience needs but good eye-hand co-ordination required.

HOME DECORATING - PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS - COURSE CANCELLED

In this practical hands on class students will learn how to use painting and decorating tools correctly, practice using both a paint brush and roller.  Learn about using undercoats and sealers and the differences between oil based and water based paints.  Instruction will also be given on the preparation of walls for painting, how to sand between coats and what sandpaper to use as well as how to paint over wallpaper and how to correctly cut in when painting.  This class is being taught by a qualified and experienced tutor who has approx 25 years experience as a painter and decorator.

Are you a Magpie that likes collecting treasurers, such as beautfiul old china, coloured glass, mirror, stone, beads, coins and much more. A combination of these items can be turned into a Mosaic masterpiece made by yourself. Come along to this fun class and learn how to Mosaic. A concentrated weekend course exploring the basics of screen printing on fabric.  A fun, hands on and really creative weekend for people with no knowledge or experience of fabric printing, just a passion to give it a go.  Taking your own designs on paper through the print process to create unique printed fabrics, garments, linen, t-shirts or fabric lengths.  A course that shows you basic fabric and screen printing techniques, many of which can be continued with at home.
