Mel is a busy mum of three young boys, who enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends.  She is a big Foodie and loves getting back to the basics and creating wholesome and tasty dishes.

She has a background in Human Resource Management and also has a Diploma in Management, along with her mother Pam Hamilton she jointly owns "The Home Cheesmaker Company Ltd" and over the past 18 months they have been running workshops on Cheese Making from their property in North Canterbury.
